Samantalang ang Pilipinas noon ay nakaranas na ng ganon kalakas na lindol subalit maliit lang ang damage.
Biruin mo, ayon sa estimate, tens of thousands of people sa Haiti ang pinaniniwalaang namatay. At gaya ng ating makikita sa television, napakaraming building ang nasira. Kahit nga ang palasyo ng Presidente ng Haiti ay nasira din.
