- Access to industries not available in the Philippine market
However, many small investors face a practical challenge: minimum funding requirements.
The desire to invest abroad is understandable, but not everyone can immediately afford to open and maintain an international investment account.
An Important Lesson

The first goal is not international diversification. The first goal is accumulating assets.
An investor with a substantial portfolio of quality Philippine stocks may be in a stronger financial position than someone who owns only a small amount of foreign investments.
